Co-Designing a Youth-Led Digital Mental Health Resource for Marginalised Young People

nooh Studio co-designed a youth-friendly digital resource to improve access to information about digital mental health interventions for marginalised young people. Working in partnership with Dr Shaun Liverpool and young people aged 12–25, the project used co-design workshops to shape content, tone, and format. The final output aimed to make mental health information more engaging, accessible, and relevant, ensuring young people’s voices directly informed the design and delivery.

“Through Helena's leadership at nooh Studio and collaborative design approaches, Helena has helped create user-centred resources and campaign tools that make complex health concepts more accessible and personally relevant. Helena's ability to translate challenging digital mental health priorities into clear, engaging and meaningful design work has significantly advanced efforts to improve young people's experience of co-design work. Helena's professionalism, empathy and vision make her an invaluable partner in any initiative aiming to make a real social impact.”

– Shaun Liverpool, PhD

As part of this project, Helena led a co-design workshop with pupils from Dartmouth Academy and the University of Exeter Medical School’s Young Persons Advisory Group.
